A home near Chestnut and McKinley caught fire for the second day in a row.
Fire crews were called to the house on the 4800 block of East Harmon Friday morning.
A neighbor spotted smoke and flames coming the the 2-story home around 7:15 a.m.
Nobody was home at the time of the fire. The renters stayed somewhere else because of damage to the home from a kitchen fire Thursday afternoon.
A small dog that was left in the home died in Friday morning's fire.
Fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of this latest fire.
