Neighbors gather at their front porch comforting one of the victims after two robbers made their way into this house and tied up two women before ransacking the home.
"They need money and they rob anybody," said one neighbor.
One of the victims was the housekeeper, the other was the homeowner, both tied by the wrist as robbers searched through the home for about 30 minutes.
The homeowner who doesn't want to reveal his identity believes the susects knew exactly what they were looking for but weren't able to find it.
"They couldn't find the money."
The suspects did get away with expensive tools used by the victim's construction business.
Fresno police say crime scene investigators are stepping in.
"They'll be out here doing thorough investigation with finger prints," said Burke Farrah.
This victim's husband says they've lived in this neighborhood for 32 years without incident, but his neighbors say this is nothing new.
"My son was robbed in his car," said one neighbor.
The victims and the rest of the neighborhood say they'll be on alert from here on in.
"We report to police, but what does that do? They can't do nothing," said one neighbor.
