After being undefeated at home this season, Fresno State earned a bid to play SMU at the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl.  It's an honor fans appreciate.

The Christmas Eve game has travel agents scrambling to offer deals.  Cruise Adventures has limited availability for a five night trip.

"We have a great package going to Hawaii with air and hotel, gets you over to the Bulldog stadium for $1,099," said Chris Mungary, travel agent for Cruise Adventures.

On their own, plane tickets start around $600.  If you fly yourself to Hawaii, Fresno State offers a "Land Package" that included three nights at Sheraton Hotel, a game ticket, VIP tailgate, and transportation to and from the game as well as airport.  That package starts at $709 per person.

Associate Athletics Director Paul Ladwig says the Bulldog Foundation is also reaching out to Alumni currently living in Oahu.

"We have about 600 alumni on the island, so obviously we're contacting all the alumni to make sure they know where we're staying and know where the tailgate party is going to be," said Ladwig.

Hawaii is typically a busy place during the holidays, and this year, President Obama will be vacationing there, so there's expected to be a buzz wherever he goes.
