The City of Clovis planning commission will hear from angry residents who live near The Firing Line, an indoor shooting range.

People living in the area have been complaining for months about the business. They don't like the sound of gunshots all day long.

The Firing Line argues the business is located in an industrial park and the owner points out the noise volume is under what's permitted.

The Clovis City Council will ultimately decide what happens.

Councilman Nathan Magsig said, "We take a look at the testimony given at that hearing, we also take a look at recommendations from staff and the planning commission, and then the council of course, will make a decision that they believe is in the best interest of the entire City of Clovis."

The meeting takes place Monday night at 6:00 p.m. in the Clovis City Council Chambers.
