The 8th Annual Hubbard-Baro Memorial Golf Tournament is held each year to honor Buchanan High grads, Jared Hubbard and Jeremiah Baro, killed while serving in Iraq in 2004.
The tournament is held every year on Veterans Day, beginning in 2005, the first anniversary of their death.
Jeremiah and Jared were close friends at Buchanan High School in Clovis and their friends back home decided to gather for a golf tournament to honor and remember them.
The tournament has grown every year and has raised over $130,000 for the VA Hospital in Fresno.
