The pain at the pump is intensifying.  The average price of gas has jumped 20 cents over the past two weeks.  Southern California is seeing it's biggest ever one-month surge in gas prices.

One of the reasons cited by analysts is an early switch to summer blend gasoline.

Here's a look at where we stand right now:

-The national average is $3.78

-The California average is $4.23

-Here in the valley the average is $4.18
