Dozens of customers at a gas station in Madera Ranchos may be the victim of identity theft.
The Madera County Sheriff's Department says someone placed a skimming device on the credit card machine at the Shell Station on Avenue 12.
Anyone who got gas between August 30th and September 10th may be a victim.
At least 27 people have reported suspicious charges from Southern California on their monthly statement.
