Investigators are looking for the suspect who ran down a man in a pickup near Cedar and McKinley on Wednesday.

Witnesses say they first heard gun shots and then saw a speeding truck hit a young victim.

The victim was rushed to the hospital but his condition is not known at this time.

Investigators say the crime is definitely the work of gangs.

Fresno County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Curtice said, "Three vehicles were stopped, several subjects were detained and of right now it looks like may have at least two people in custody that were involved in initial disturbance when the subject was run over."

Investigators are still trying to get a better description of the suspects.
