A known gang member is back in jail, accused of robbing a 13-year-old boy in Southeast Fresno.
The boy's father gave him $2,700 in cash and told to put it away.
Instead of doing what he was told, the boy was showing the money off to friends, when 19-year-old Brian Field ran up and snatched it from his hands and took off.
Officers caught up with him following an investigation but were only able to recover $2,100.
Field says he gambled the missing $600 away at a local casino.
He was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
