A new wing is unveiled at Fresno's VA medical center.It’s a 16,000 square foot mental health services building, which will provide treatment for vets battling conditions such as post traumatic stress disorder.

“With this facility we'll address those sides that are not so visible. The post traumatic stress that comes from being in the theatre of combat,” said Jim Costa.
Democratic Congressman Jim Costa honored the Hubbard and Baro families...whose sons were killed in action in Iraq.
Brothers Jared and Nathan Hubbard and their friend Jeremiah Baro were students at Buchanan High School in Clovis.
Their mothers were moved as a special plaque was installed to remember the young men.
“I'm speechless. It's fantastic. They did such a great job...it's just really... fantastic,” said Terry Baro.
The Baro and Hubbard families also received credit for their role in the new facility.
They held a golf tournament every year since 2005, raising more than $120,000 for the VA hospital.
“It really reflects the generous donation of so many people. Not only the golf tournament but also our congressional leaders who supported us,” said VA Hospital Director Joanne Krumberger.
The VA Hospital serves more than 27,000 veterans in the central valley.
