An investigation continues tonight into the death of a homeless man in Fresno.
The man, identified as Lonzel McPeters, was found dead near a bus stop on Abby and Divisadero.
We interviewed Lonzel early last year for a story on people who were abusing ambulance services in Fresno.
He called the ambulance to take him to the hospital more than 650 times in 2011.
McPeters was a known panhandler at the intersection.
Those who knew him, were sad to hear about his death.
"It's sad, he really was a good guy and I feel bad he went the way he did," Brian Groat said.
Investigators are still determing how McPeters died.
