The gates will open at the 129th Fresno Fair Wednesday, October 3rd at 11am.

Get ready for “Wednesday Mania:”

$1 to ge to get in and on all the rides and what a ride it’ll be this year.

As crews connect log jams, and inspectors work out any glitches…

“We go through every single amusement device here check them out from structural to seatbelts hydraulics,” said Ride Inspector John Dodson.

Fresno Fair Organizers guarantee the biggest fair yet.

“Our motto is to get a little bit bigger and better every year and this year is no exception,” said Laurie King.

Dozens of new kiddy rides and surprises unloaded and ready to go…

Exhibits that'll take you around the world...

“Yah! Kangaroo representing Australia… we feature continents Asia South America Africa,” said Wildlife Organizer Karla Majewski.

Karla Majewski just got done building her Kangaroo's home.

From there, off to check on farm friends at Ag Land next door.

The pregnant sheep are looking a little hungry.

Too bad they can't have anything from the new “Garlicky.”

“Garlickys is all garlic... You're going to see everything from mounds of garlic...there... pizza ...garlic French fries," described Garlicky’s Gena Saes.

Speaking of fried…

Chicken Charlies isn't here this year but fried oreos, twinkies, and corn dogs are here to stay.

Besides you might have too much fun watching dogs compete in the Olympic-sized pool or jamming with Weazer and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

By then the log jams will splashing too.
