The Fresno County Sheriff's Department says they are treating this as a homicide, but they're not giving out too much information about this case, and it's getting some mixed reaction from those who live in the neighborhood.
Yellow tape blocking off the streets, as crime scene investigators roll in to this vineyard on Cedar and American after a body was found 40 feet from the roadway.
"When they arrived on scene they did locate a body of a make suspect who appears to have traumatic injuries," Chris Curtice, Sheriff's Deputy said.
Farm workers had apparently discovered the body described as an East Indian male.
"I was wondering what was going on. Never seen anything like this before," Gerred Getchell said.
It's a sign of worry for some people who live out in the county.
" If it's being looked at as a homicide, I'll be watching. I've never heard anything like this before. I've lived here for 3 years," Getchell said.
But to others it's nothing new.
" There's bodies found everywhere," said one neighbor.
Investigators are still trying to identify if he was an employee on this farm.
