The Fresno Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Eggs and Issues Breakfast on Friday.

Republican Congressman Devin Nunes was the guest speaker. He talked about the upcoming election and the growing deficit in Washington and here in California.

Congressman Nunes said, "The money keeps sprinkling down by government but we're quickly running out of money, not only in the United States, but in California and all over the San Joaquin Valley. So tough decisions need to be made by the politicians. The longer we wait, the tougher it's going to be for people trying to provide for their families."

Right now the United States is $16 trillion. Congressman Nunes says the government is spending between 30 and 40 percent more than it brings in.
