Fresno Bank Robbery

A 19-year-old woman is in custody accused of trying to rob a bank in Southeast Fresno.

Around 4:30 this afternoon, the woman walked into the Wells Fargo Bank at Kings Canyon and Clovis Avenue.

She passed a note to the teller and said she had a knife.

She got away with about a hundred dollars.

19-year-old Somsri Viengkae was arrested as she was walking to her car.

Police say they found the money, the note and the knife used in the robbery.
