An old-fashioned Christmas was the theme as local firefighters helped homeless dogs find a home.
Fresno Bully Rescue held their Christmas fundraiser in downtown Fresno at the Firefighters Union Hall.
They brought out dozens of adoptable dogs looking for a home.
Bridgette Boothe of Fresno Bully Rescue said, “The special event we have today is to bring people out and see the dogs and get to know them and see how sweet they are and friendly. We have lots of puppies and we have over 50 dogs at our center too that are waiting for homes.”
The Fresno Bully rescue is a no-kill shelter. They also have a tree set up at Critter Country in Clovis accepting donations for the shelter.
