Her antiques turned to ashes, Susan Albright searched through the ruble Monday.
"Everything is gone, it is a total loss, it gutted it," said Albright.
Albright and about twenty other antique vendors lost everything in what fire officials are calling the largest fire in Clovis in over a year.
"It's a hundred years old and that's one of the unfortunate parts about older building construction they don't have the modern fire prevention," said Jim Damico with the Clovis Fire Department.
Workers put up temporary barriers and firefighters continued to assess the damage currently estimated at half a million dollars. Meanwhile, vendors tried to come to grips with what was lost.
"I wanted people that enjoyed them to get them. It wasn't all about money or anything like that," said vendor Dave Wickhan.
For Dave Wickhan, it was collection of photos dating back to the turn of the century that were taken by the fire but many lost even more.
"Some of them lost thousands and thousands of dollars worth of beautiful old glass and furniture," said Albright.
She says the list goes on and on. And even though she lost all her antiques and doesn't have insurance she says she is far from done.
“I still have a lot in my garage to get rid of so you might see me at a parking lot sale," said Albright.
