There was a violent crash Friday morning just south of Fresno.
The driver of a red Corvette likely ran a stop sign at Temperance and American and was struck in the driver's side door by an oncoming Toyota, killing the driver of the Corvette.
The CHP says the victim was in his early to mid 20s.
The driver of the Toyota was also injured and was taken to the hospital.
