Fire crews were called to garage on fire at a house in the area of Clovis and Sierra Avenues Thursday afternoon.

When crews arrived, they were told somebody may be trapped inside.

Firefighters went into the burning garage but did not find anyone.

After confirming the garage was vacant, they began putting out the flames but then several oxy-acetylene tanks in the garage exploded.

Crews were able to contain the fire in about 20 minutes and there were no injuries.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
