Fire investigators are trying to determine what caused an explosion at an apartment complex near Fresno State.
The fire happened Monday night at the Campus Chalet Apartments near Milbrook and Bulldog Lane.
The explosion was strong enough to blow out all the windows in one of the units.
The small fire was quickly extinguished, with damage estimated at $10,000.
Nobody was injured, but several nearby apartments were briefly evacuated until it was clear that there was no more danger.
