A North Valley woman is in custody, accused of murdering her boyfriend.
Merced County sheriff's deputies were called to the El Nido trailer park around 11:00 p.m. Saturday night.
When officers arrived at the trailer park, located west of Chowchilla, they found 27-year-old Roberto Azevedo shot to death.
Merced County Sheriff Mark Pazin said, "Our Major Crime Unit did go out over there, did recover a rifle and the female was booked into the Merced County Jail."
The woman, 20-year-old Grace Azevedo is being held on murder charges. Although the victim and the woman have the same last name, they are not related.
