A parade was held in Old Town Clovis to welcome home the veterans of recent wars and give Vietnam veterans the support they never received.

“We are out here today to celebrate 50 years of Vietnam, the returnees from Vietnam and celebrating everything they did for our country as well,” Andrea Dermanouel said.

“It's extremely important because a lot of people don’t have that experience of going to a foreign country and facing the things these veterans do,” James Banuelos said.

The event also included a job and resource fair for veterans.
