A cyclist is hospitalized after he was hit by a car in Clovis tonight.
the bicyclist was on shaw avenue... crossing helm when he was hit.
The driver stopped and stayed at the scene.
Police are investigating how the crash happened and who was at fault.
"It's a very heavily travelled roadway, lot of traffic out here right now. We have officers in route to do a complete investigation of the incident," Sgt. Jim Koch of the Clovis Police Department said.
The cyclist suffered injuries to his leg.
