The Government Officials do NOT give a D*^&&m about animals. All they care about is looking good for the Voters. The County and the City have not the money or the patience to see the Animal situation thru. What the City and the County will do is simply Euthanize these animals...so was said behind closed doors...behind the Public's back....Instead of instituting Animal Licensing and fines for individual animals, Back yard Breeders, and Dog Fighters. Per Santa Clara County and Sacramento County: Unaltered animals $100 yr., Altered $25 yr., Litters-$150-$200 ea., Kennel Licenses $300 yr with unannounced inspections. Up to $1000.00 fine for each violation. Gee do you think the City JUST Might make some money??? Our Politicians only serve Peoplw with money and Corporations, they care for nothing else.

SPCA was not really good for anything in my experiences we really need a full service animal control organization.. They do nothing for stray cats.. my neighbor is a hoarder of strays and they have done nothing.. we have called them on other issues and they have lagged on coming.. Fresno needs to wake up and realize they are not that small little farming town anymore.. there are serious health issues and annoyances that can escalate because of the cities lack of organization.. this town is 20 years behind its time.. from animal control, to sycronization of traffic lights.. to railroad crossings and the lack of under or over passes for traffic like shaw and 99..

Awesome. So the Mayor hasn't said one word about this issue since it really began to build last September. Where was our lovely Mayor during the entire Task Force process? What was HER contribution to any of this? And NOW, at the eleventh hour, she's decided to step in? Right... Make no mistake this is exactly what I've suspected all along - Mayor Swearengin, City Manager Mark Scott and Assistant City Manager Bruce Rudd have been and ARE well aware of (if not part of) the tax fraud, corruption resulting from a blatant breach of the CCSPCA's contract with the City of Fresno and the shelter's knowing collusion with a man who belongs to an FBI-identified domestic terrorist organization.
