I think it's time the USDA be held responsible for neglecting to DO THEIR JOB!!

As a federally-inspected plant, all handling activities are also performed under the continuous inspection of USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service personnel who are empowered to take immediate action when they observe a problem. That is why these allegations are both disturbing and surprising. Judging by the comments in here you people don't read very good or just to one sided.

Its the same story over and over again all processing plants do not care about any of these humane issue its all about the money. The USDA don't give a crap either all Humane groups are nothing to them but a pain in the butt. They have to respond so to keep us people who care about animals appeased. But they are probably bought off just like any other goverment official can be. It all about the filthy money. None of them give a flip about a suffering animal, or their sadistic employees who abuse the animals. Yea that representative knows the family so what !!! They are probably so far removed from that slaughterhouse they don't know what goes on. You can print this story in a few months just change the name of the processing plant.

Now they want to comply with the humane laws, now that they have been caught torturing cows!! Just because they have been in business for 50 years does NOT mean they have followed the laws all those years. It just means they weren't caught on tape. Unfortunate. For those tortured cows and for the workers who were never apart of torturing the animals. I stopped eating beef and porn back in February after viewing similar undercover video of the slaughtering methods. I can't even fathom eating pork or beef again, those images will forever haunt me. There is no justification in torturing an animal before or during its slaughter, EVER!
