A suspected car thief is on the loose after his alleged partner was busted near B Street and San Joaquin in Southwest Fresno.
The two were apparently trying to steal a car Tuesday night when the owner came out.
One of the suspects reportedly flashed a weapon before running off.
Sgt. Joey Alvarez with the Fresno Police Department said, "As officers responded a Fresno Police Department canine conducted a track within the alley which led him to a residence. And after further investigation it was determined that the suspect might possibly live at the location."
Investigators haven't released the name of the suspect who was arrested and there's no description of the man who is still on the loose.
