To bigchipz559, American Ambulance has nothing to do with this policy. This policy stretches across four counties within the CCEMSA. The CCEMSA implemented this policy because of the 911 abuse after years of voiced concerns by 911 providers; Ambulance, Fire, PD, Dispatch, and Emergency Room staff. And, before you start calling American Ambulance crooks you should learn the facts as to why they cover the majority of Fresno and Kings Counties. Most people want one uniformed and organized agency to be responsible for ambulance services. This helps with response times, ensuring continuing education is provided for the medics and EMTs, and less confusion with the 911 operating system as to who should respond to which call. I have seen them save two of my family members in the past and I am grateful for them not to mention the public outreach they have done in some of the less fortunate neighborhoods here in Hanford. You must have had a bad experience with them, ex-employee, or just don't know what you are talking about.

This policy covers the CCEMSA, so Fresno, Kings, Madera, and Tulare counties can use this policy as well if they find that someone fits this policy criteria.
