You might notice some parking lot construction at River Park Plaza. That's the shopping complex just across the street from Macy's at Blackstone and Nees.
In-N-Out Burger, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle, JoAnn Fabric, Pacific Service Credit Union, and the old Claim Jumper Restaurant are in that shopping center.
Finding a parking spot can be difficult, so they're going to re-configure the lot to add about 50 more spaces.
The project will be done in phases so businesses can stay open during the expansion.
Westwoods Bar-B-Q will be opening soon in the Claim Jumper location. The new restaurant is owned by the Fansler Restaurant Group, who also own Pismo's Coastal Grill across the street in the Villaggio Shopping Center and Yosemite Ranch at Shepherd and Champlain in Fresno.
