Bulldog fever is brewing across the valley for homecoming weekend!

Fresno State plays San Diego State Saturday in the first Mountain West game in Fresno.

“We like the way the guys are playing and go dogs,” Laura Gothard

A bulldog cheer from a Fresno State Alumna who happens to be from San Diego.

“It’s a little bit of a...hm…but still rooting for Fresno!... My husband… he's a sportster!” Gothard said.

Hubby will be happy she made it to the ticket booth in time.

Over 30 thousand tickets sold so far.

The bulldog shop has also been slammed. Joe Perez needed a bulldog new hat…

“I didn't go to Fresno State but I just always root for the home team,” said Joe Perez.

But hats will be off to welcome 100 former players…

Reuniting at a pre-game dinner…Standout Kevin Jordan ...still fired up about the last time he played San Diego State back in 1997.

“It wasn't the best games for me... but like I told the guys...tomorrow is never promised so you have to play each play like it's your last,” Jordan said.

Fans are living it up too...with ribs and tri-tip from Fresno's Meat Market... aka the tailgating headquarters.

Denise and Pete Esraeli, both alumni, are planning a date at the tailgating party.

Go bulldogs... we used to say win the wack but now we're gonna say...win the Mountain West...” the couple agreed.

Tailgating begins at 4pm.

Kick off is at 7pm.
