Local non-profits came together today to help families in need.

The annual Thanksgiving Feed was held at the Boys and Girls Club in Fresno.

Families were served all the usual thanksgiving dishes such as turkey, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie.

Teams of volunteers served and made the homemade dishes as a way to give back to the community.

“Its great that's why we're here. We're here to serve the community and provide whatever we can to better the environment,” Michael Allen of ths Boys and Girls Club said.

Up to 200 families were served during today’s event.
