Just over a week after a tragic accident in Yosemite National Park, the body of a 6-year-old boy has been recovered from the Merced River.

Jacob Adams drowned last Wednesday after being swept away by the swift current.

He was playing with his 10-year-old brother at the time and both boys were swept away by the current.

The older boy's body was recovered on the same day the tragedy happened and crews had been searching for Jacob since the accident occurred.

His body was found 50 yards downstream from where he first went into the water.
