Fresno County detectives are investigating the discovery of a man's body.
A driver spotted the body in the roadway near Newmark and Floral in the Parlier area around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
Fresno County sheriff's deputies were called and detectives say there were injuries on the body.
Sgt. Leo Lopez with the Fresno County Sheriff's Department said, "In viewing the scene and seeing the body it's fair to say the person did not die from natural causes."
There's no word yet on the identity of the man or the cause of death.
Detectives also say it's still too early to say if the case is gang-related.
