A body was found Wednesday near Manning and Smith in the Parlier area of Fresno County.
Homicide detectives were on the scene but were not ready to call it a murder, but were calling the death "suspicious".
The body was found by a farmer working on the orchard.
Investigators say the body is that of a Hispanic male and appeared to have suffered some sort of trauma.
