An about face for a Valley man who admitted to killing his wife in Sanger two weeks ago.
Keith Beyer gave a completely different statement to the judge on Thursday.
Beyer's attorney says he was distraught when he made his first appearance.
Defense attorney Roberto Dulce said, "We pled not guilty today. The outburst that was seen at the last hearing was really one of somebody who was beyond despondent, is all I can say."
Two weeks ago, Beyer admitted in court that he murdered his wife but the court did not see that admission as a guilty plea, which is why he was back in court for arraignment on Thursday.
