Scary moments for workers at a McDonald's in the North Valley.

A man with a gun walked into the restaurant off Motel Drive in Merced late Tuesday night and put a gun to an employee's head.

The suspect then locked up the other workers in an office and threatened to kill them if they didn't open the safe.

The suspect fled with an unknown amount of cash.

No employees were hurt.

Police are now going through security tapes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Merced Police Department.
