A gunman with a craving for snack food is on the run.
He robbed the Quick N E-Z at Blackstone and Sierra in Fresno on Sunday.
The suspect took beef jerky, candy, and energy drinks to the counter and asked for cigarettes, but instead of paying, he pulled a gun.
The store clerk said, "He said, 'Okay, give me the bag.' Okay, you did not pay yet so I had the bag in my hand. He told me, 'Give me the bag otherwise I'll shoot you. I'm starving.'"
The suspect took his food and ran.
Police are now looking at security video for the suspect's description.
