A Hanford man is dead, after his car went off the road and struck a tree.

The man, 23, was traveling southbound on Highway 99 south of Avenue 56 in Earlimart, when for an unknown reason, his car drifted off the road and hit a Eucalyptus tree.

As a result of the accident, the man suffered fatal injuries.
