There is an investigation into Fresno County's second death of the year from West Nile virus.

The latest case involves a woman who died sometime last month.

David Luchini with the Fresno County Health Department said, "This is the first time we've had two deaths in Fresno County since 2005. This time we've had 16 cases of West Nile virus reported to us for the 2012 calendar year."

As long as the weather stays on the warm side, mosquitoes will still be active, so keep repellent handy.

Not much information, someone died of WNV sometime last month, sounds more like a rumor than a story. Were both deaths last month, or did the second victim die last month? So the other 14 cases lived? What does an investigation for WNV deaths involve? Do people get paid $ to write this stuff?
