"Adan did nothing wrong. He did nothing wrong. He was just trying to sell a car," Sheriff Mims said.
Fresno County Sheriff's Department are working diligently at trying to track the suspect down, but they need the public's help.
What they're trying to figure out is,
" What happened between 10am and 11:15?," Mims said.
Rodriguez was at the Cherry Avenue Auction at around 10 AM on October 2nd, and shortly after his body was found in a field.
A key item in this case, this 2002 light brown Chevy Tahoe with with California license plate number 4VCS831.
It's the one Rodriguez was trying to sell at the auction.
"Anybody in the public that has information about where the vehicle or who is responsible for this crime," Mims said.
Investigators are looking at surveillance cameras at the Cherry Auction parking lot hoping to find any clues.
