A Fresno man saw 3 suspects breaking into his car and when he approached, one of them shot him.

The shooting happened after 10:00 p.m. Tuesday night in Southwest Fresno.

The victim discovered the 3 suspects in the processes of breaking into his car.

When he confronted the men, one of them pulled a gun and fired, hitting him once.

The victim is believed to be in his late 20's or early 30's and was transported to Community Hospital for treatment.

Police say you should never confront someone trying to take your property. The best thing to do is call 911.
