Fresno police are looking into a possible link between vandalism at the northeast police substation and two other incidents at local schools.

Thirty-four patrol cars at the substation were covered with graffiti and several tires were slashed.

Fresno Police Captain Al Maroney said, "What we subsequently learned was that earlier in that same evening, we believe there was another vandalism that happened at the Clovis West campus, just west of our location. And then this morning we received a call there had been a similar vandalism at the Clovis North campus."

Investigators say there are a number of similarities in the writing style and the paint colors used at the substation and at the school campuses.

Police are now looking at security camera video from homes near those locations and hope that will lead to the suspects.

If you have any information on the vandalism, you're asked to contact the Fresno Police Department.
