A 15-year-old student was arrested after threatening to shoot up Parlier High School.

Police arrested him on terrorist threat charges.

The teen was already on probation for weapons charges.

Officers did not find any guns at the boy's home, but they did find a hunting knife.

David Cerda with the Parlier Police Department said, "We have a zero tolerance policy regarding school threats. In light of all the school shootings, school violence, you certainly have to take precautionary measures and take every threat serious."

Hundreds of Selma High students stayed home from school last week after threats of a shooting there.
