Tulare County Murder Suspect Arrested

An Amber Alert has been called off this morning after murder suspect Hector Celaya was arrested following an officer involved shooting near Lindsay.

Celaya was on the run with his two daughters after being the prime suspect in a shooting investigation on the Tule Indian Reservation where three people were found dead, and another injured.

According to the Tulare County Sheriff's Department they were able to track down Celaya and after he ignored a traffice stop, a chase began.

Deputies say during the chase, Celaya pulled over near Avenue 256, east of Road 216 and began shooting at deputies.

Deputies shot and arrested Celaya were he was transported to a local hospital where he is being treated with life threatening injuries.

Deputies also discovered that Celaya shot both of his daughters and one suffered life threatening injuries.
