A vehicle hit a man around
4:45AM at Hazelwood and
Ventura.
The driver says the victim was lying in the road before he hit him.
It's not known now what happened to the victim beforehand and why he was lying in the road.
The driver stopped and will not be charged.
No word tonight on the victim's identity.
