Fresh out of jail, Keo Souvannnasane picks up what's left of her marijuana, marijuana she says she puts in her soup.
"Whatever they found, whatever they say they found here in my house 7 pounds or 80 pounds or whatever of bud, it's not true at all. They found shakes that I use for cooking," said Souvannasane.
But Fresno Police disagree. Officers moved in on Souvanannasane's apartment Wednesday night after arresting wanted felons David Marks and Peter Bandaphone after they left.
"We were able to determine where they came from, got a search warrant to search that location and inside we found an additional 80 pounds of marijuana that was packaged for sales,” said Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer.
Police say they seized a total of 85 pounds of marijuana during the operation as well as body armor they found inside Marks' and Bandaphone's car.
She says officers shot a bean bag through the door of the room she was in before seizing her marijuana and arresting her.
"They found like a big trash bag but they are all like leaves, there is no marijuana bud, nothing like that you can do anything with,” said Souvannasane.
