Suspect arrested in Hanford shooting

A teen is in critical condition after he was shot in Hanford.

The shooting happened on Wednesday in the area of Lassen Drive and Fernot Way.

Police say the 19-year-old victim was shot at least three times when a car drove by and shots were fired.

Police later arrested 23-year-old Raymond Mendez in Hanford.

Mendez faces attempted murder charges.

Investigators believe the shooting was gang related.
