A man is in serious condition after he was run over near Tulare and Cedar in Fresno over the weekend.
The 33-year-old man was apparently walking in the road when he was hit.
Lt. Joe Gomez with the Fresno Police Department said, "He was just in the middle of the road, just standing in the middle of the road kind of waving his arms around and then the truck that was going eastbound saw him and swerved to miss him, and he did, but a car behind him didn't even see him so he proceeded straight and hit the pedestrian."
The driver stopped and is cooperating with police.
Fresno police are also investigating a deadly weekend hit and run.
A man in his 40s was struck and killed at Belmont and Blackstone on Saturday.
Police are looking for a white 1990 Chevy SUV, possibly a Suburban with a lifted suspension.
