Several people were detained Thursday morning when multiple law enforcement agencies arrived to serve search warrants in west Fresno.

SWAT teams from Fresno and Clovis assisted with the service of the search warrants at the 4-acre compound located at Olive and Marks Avenues.

Drug agents are searching the property along with the Fresno County sheriff's deputies.

The investigation started earlier in the week when a woman was found at Tachi Palace in Lemoore with meth and a large amounts of cash on her.

Kings County deputies traced her back to the Fresno property where the search warrants were served.

Because the property is so large, with a house, trailers and lots of trees, officers didn't know what to expect, which is why they involved backup law enforcement from other agencies.

Neighbors say it was a sight to see when they woke up Thursday morning. Aldo Herrera said, "It was crazy. Bomb squad, and SWAT, and K-9s and Avenal Police and Hanford... it's kinda weird seeing so much different departments.

Several people who were inside the home were detained and are being questioned.

Meanwhile, the search is continuing and could take quite a while. The property is large and full of structures and foliage and whatever they're looking for could be hidden anywhere.
