A mom in the South Valley is under arrest.

The Terra Bella was taken into custody after her 1-year-old child tested positive for pot.

23-year-old Nikki Ray took her baby to the hospital for a fever but tests showed large amounts of THC in the child's system. THC is the main chemical in marijuana.

Deputies say Ray is a medical marijuana user and often smokes it around her one and three-year-old children.

Her children are now with Child Protective Services.

Ridiculous. We can keep guns and smoke cigarettes in the same house as our child--without getting CPS called--yet some THC in the little one's system and everyone is up in arms. How about you let research happen on infant THC use because a 8-10Month old was cured of an inoperable brain tumor by using THC Oil on the tip of her pacifier. The Dad did it against Doctor's orders--which are through the lens of the federal government's perspective on marijuana--and it saved his daughters life!!!!!!!!!!!
