The jury in the Megan Martzen murder trial says they can't reach a verdict.
The jurors told the judge that they're hopelessly deadlocked, meaning a mistrial.
22-year-old Martzen is accused in the murder of 17-month-old Ella Van Leeuwen. The Reedley toddler died while under Marzen's care back in 2009.
There's no word yet whether or not the Fresno County District Attorney's office will retry the case.
